The importance of Father’s Day, and the exact date of the German-speaking regional differences. As an official holiday it has its roots in the U.S.. There the Father’s Day a special day for fathers as similar as the Mother’s Day celebration. Is attributable to Sonora Smart Dodd of the holiday (1882-1978), whose father had fought in the Civil War, 1861-1865. 1910, she said, influenced by the introduction of a Mother’s, a movement to honor fathers in life. President Calvin Coolidge in 1924 gave out a recommendation for the introduction of a special holiday to the states of the USA. President Richard Nixon in 1972 elevated him to the rank of an official public holiday for each third Sunday in June.
